Not a particle accelerator, but just a bridge.
The Lotus Bridge connects Macau with the rest of China, and simultaneously changes the left-hand drive of cars (Macau) to the right-hand (China) without stops.
At the border of China and Hong Kong, this is implemented in a slightly different way (Lok Ma Chau bridge):

It is interesting that in Russia there is something similar - in the Volgograd light rail. At the beginning of the underground sections, the tram tunnels change places. This is due to the fact that at the time of construction there were trams with only right doors, and left-hand traffic had to be organized at island-type stations.
Before reaching the surface, the tunnels are reversed.
