New survey features at 3CX WebMeeting

Our 3CX WebMeeting web and video conferencing system received a significant update this week regarding online polls and voting. Let's talk about the improvements that have appeared in this sought-after feature.

Create and edit polls

• Paginate questions. Now you can choose whether to display one question per page or to combine all questions on one page.
  
• The duration of the survey (Duration). If desired, you can specify the duration of the response. After this time, the reception of responses from users is terminated and the survey ends.
  

Active polls

• Tracking survey results. Now the creator of the survey can follow the responses of participants in real time. You see the answers of each participant to each question. Participants can also see the progress of their responses. This is very convenient - you can immediately see whether there were any unanswered questions.
  
• Anonymous polls. During the survey, all the responses of the participants are visible to the organizer. However, he can now anonymize the survey results. Anonymization is available only to the organizer, for participants this feature will appear in the next release.
  
• Automatically send responses. Previously, after entering the answer, participants had to press a button to send it. Member responses are now automatically automatically saved to the 3CX WebMeeting server.
  
• Poll Timer A visual timer for tracking polling time appeared at the top of the interface. The elapsed time from the start of the survey and the time until the completion of the survey are displayed.
  
• Survey in the process of presentation. Added the ability to conduct a survey directly during the presentation. After completion of the survey, the organizer will be returned to the slide on which the survey began.
  

Survey results

• Sharing results. After completing the survey, the organizer can share the results with the participants. They will receive a sound notification and a pop-up window with the results.
  
• Saving results to PDF. By default, only the survey organizer can save the results in a PDF file. However, if the organizer shared the results of the survey, any participant will be able to save the results in PDF.
  
• Print results. Both the organizer and participants can print the results of the survey. The conditions for access to printing are similar to saving to a PDF file.
  

Features of use

• Ad blockers. If you use browser-based ad blockers, errors will occur when generating PDFs and printing survey results. Add the page from which you are creating the PDF / print it to the white list of the blocker.
  
• Save results to the cloud. We do not store survey results in the 3CX WebMeeting cloud so as not to violate confidentiality and comply with the law. Results are available only for the current survey. Once the survey is completed and the results are processed, all data is permanently deleted.
