For IT ishnikov. If your eyes get tired, redness, irritation. Maybe this article is for you.
I have been working in the IT field since 2004. Like you, I spend a lot of time behind the monitor screen (even two). And if this is a release, deadline or urgent matter, then the time spent working at the computer gradually develops into most of the day.
Recently, a friend asked me how my eyes can stand it and my vision remains good ?! I always answer that years of training help. Think this is sarcasm? Only partly :) In fact, this is a workout.
Next I’ll ask you not to read those who already know everything and those who don’t like “non-medical” terms
Back in 2004, when we worked for two weeks without a break before the presentation of the project, to which the customer had already invited guests, rented a room, and he “thickened paints” over us, my eyes began to dry out very much. And in the end, with the constant rubbing of my fingers, I got very irritated. As a result, conjunctivitis and other troubles. In general, the final project was then given to me with a fight.
I will no longer annoy you with history, after which I began to actively seek tools and rules for how to work properly on a computer. Correct posture, lighting, contrast, brightness, color temperature (warm / cold) ... all this really helps. But this is not a secret ingredient.
The real solution to the problem was a video clip that a friend showed me. Sorry, I cannot find this video now. In the video, Mr. II, with the hardening of a post-Soviet scientist, talked about the structure of the eye, how the history of eye medicine developed and what we have now. And many more interesting things. And in the end, he showed exercises for the eyes. Yes, I.I. argued that the eyes are muscle. And in order for her to always be in her form, she needs to be “rocked”.
Further, who was completely bored, I ask you to leave this audience.
These are simple exercises that take 3-5 minutes. You will need only clean hands and a relaxed atmosphere.
Preparation
- Rub your palms until hot.
- Then cover the fingers of one hand with the fingers of the other so that the angle between the “palm boats” is straight.
- After, put the “glasses” on your nose. The palms should be slightly concave so that when blinking you do not touch the eyelashes of your palms, but at the same time so that the light does not break through the cracks (you can do in the dark).
- Perform all exercises slowly and to a pleasant pain. Keep your eyes open.
Exercise 1
Next, we look all the way to the right, on inspiration we return our eyes to the center and on exhalation we look to the left. We look 10 times in each direction.
Exercise 2
Next, we look up to the stop, on inspiration we return our eyes to the center and on the exhale we look down to the stop. Let's look at 10 times in each direction.
Exercise 3
Next, we look diagonally into the upper right corner, on inspiration we return our eyes to the center and on exhalation we look completely into the lower left corner. We look 10 times in each direction.
Exercise 4
Next, we look diagonally into the upper left corner, on inspiration we return our eyes to the center and on exhalation we look all the way to the lower right corner. Let's look at 10 times in each direction.
Exercise 5
Slowly outline the eyes with a circle, at the maximum possible angle. So that we always look at the extreme position. Repeat 5 times in each direction.
Exercise 6
Gently and exhale stick out a little eye. Repeat 5 times
Exercise 7
Squeeze strongly (as if we were afraid that nothing would get in there) and open our eyes. Repeat 5 times.
Exercise 8
Quickly-quickly blink for 5-7 seconds.
Completion
Now we will hold our hands in place a bit, eyes open for 10-15 seconds. Then we open our eyes. If all the colors have become brighter, and there is more light in the room, then you did the exercise correctly. Try it and let your eyesight be always great!
