Highload Dev Conf'2015 was held on October 17 in Minsk
On October 17, the annual brutal conference Highload Dev Conf .
The participants were more than 300 severe developers who are interested in highly loaded projects and BigData.
The atmosphere, despite the severity of the audience, reigned cheerful and friendly.
At the conference, 15 reports were presented, which the Program Committee helped to select, in the person of serious guys: Anton Ananich, Vani Antipov, Roman Bugaev, Alexei Sazanov and Arseny Lapunov.
Briefly about the conference reports,
Eugene Varavva talked about what “SRE on Google” is and how the SRE team differs from devops or sys. admin, and also gave examples of work.
In the report of Andrey Svetlov, one could see and hear many practical examples and tips on how to make your decision for optimal cluster loading.
Charming and cheerful Roman Imankulov from Todoist popularly told how to add API functions for data synchronization, allowing you to write “fat clients” using only MySQL and Redis.
HDConf did not pass by the popular theme of containers and cloud solutions. Yuri Nasretdinov, Alexey Zalesov, Alexander Lomov, Dmitry Lazarenko and Dmitry Durasov shared their experiences.
Incredibly popular was the topic of seals in speaker presentations.
Throughout the conference, over a cup of coffee, discussions and heated discussions were held both with speakers and among participants.
The most active participants, whose questions were noted by the speakers, received branded T-shirts from the organizers of HDConf.
The end of a busy day was an informal afterparty, where in a more relaxed atmosphere there were conversations “for high load”!
