We are pleased to announce that for the first time, IT professionals have access to almost all Microsoft software, which can now be used not only to get acquainted with the software, but also to solve various problems in a non-production environment: emulation of production infrastructure, test benches, trial operation, product research etc. An MSDN subscription includes all rights and features previously available only to developers, without the need to purchase Visual Studio.

    Subscribers of MSDN Platforms get:

    • access to more than 900 Microsoft products,
    • two incidents are resolved by technical support per year,
    • two sets of Microsoft E-Learning e-courses,
    • Coming soon: $ 1800 prepaid access to Windows Azure per year, which fully pays for the cost of the subscription.

What is the difference between MSDN Platforms and TechNet?
The fundamental difference between a TechNet subscription is limited usage rights - the software in a TechNet subscription can only be used to get acquainted with Microsoft products, all other scenarios are not allowed for this subscription. Only the MSDN Platforms subscription allows IT professionals to ensure the legality of non-production environments, especially in complex scenarios of poorly controlled installation of a large number of products.

    Cost and Licensing
MSDN Platforms subscriptions are user-licensed and available through the Microsoft Volume Licensing licensing program. For purchase and consultation, contact your Microsoft representative or reseller, or contact a Microsoft specialist at devtlzru@microsoft.com
