    Remember the cartoon where the kid was indignant at the fact that he was counted? An old cartoon, maybe few people know it ... But it doesn’t matter, the point is not in the cartoon, but in the fact that the experts analyzed the observational data for 2009 and created an overall picture that everyone understands. No text reports - one big chart with lots of interesting information. All this is in the sequel.

    Yes, I lied a little, first let's still mention the most important data, and then the schedule. But the most impatient can skip all this text, and go directly to the picture (carefully, English!).

    - On the Internet there is no gender advantage of any gender. It is used by 74% of men and 74% of women;

    “The older the person, the less likely it is to have access to the Web.” For example, 93% of young people use the Network (ages 18-29), but only 38% of the older generation also work or have fun on the Web (age 64+). In addition, 70% of the population aged 50-64 can also be considered Internet users;

    - As you might expect, the richer the person, the more likely that he has a connection to the Network;

    - Education matters. For example, about 94% of college and university students have access to the Internet. At the same time, people with secondary education are not so often found on the network (only 39%);

    - Over time, there are more Internet users. For example, in 2005, 27% of the total population "used the Internet several times a day." Now the number of such "experienced users" is already 38%

    - 58% of Internet users have desktop PCs, 46% have laptops;

    - The largest number of bloggers are among young people and middle-aged people (25-44 years old). Only 7% of people under 25 years old have a blog, this is even a lower indicator than the number of bloggers among people 55-64 years old;

    - 54% of bloggers consider themselves experts in the issue that they write about on the blog;

    - In Norway - the most Internet users! The USA is only in fifth place;

    - In Japan, the fastest Internet;

    - The average speed of connecting to the Network via mobile communications is 700 Kbps

    Well, now, finally, the schedule itself, boring letters are behind!
