Discogs - tidy your collection
I have long wanted to clean up my music collection, namely to get rid of unknown artists, wrong tags, and other nonsense. As a player I use foobar2000 , we will check with the base Discogs.com
First of all, you need a plugin for interacting with the discogs.com database foo_discogs
We open the tracks of interest (in my case, this is the Live & Rare album). Select them, select from the menu (right mouse button) discogs -> write tags Then the plug-in window appears: After selecting the artist and album, click next and check the names of the tracks and album contents , you can immediately change the genre and style of the album, click write tags and after a little expectations we get the tracks. But it remains to find the "cover". To do this, select any track, select the discogs menu -> update album \ album image result:
