Automatic optimization of Windows XP services
Each Windows service performs a predefined function — for example, the Print Spooler is used to work with the printer. For this service, the program checks if there are printers installed in your system, if they are not there, then there is no reason for the service to work (wasting system resources). So the program checks each service for the given parameters.
Stopping services frees up space in RAM, which means it adds speed to your PC. © Computerra
