Chariot for the disabled

Disabled people with paralyzed or amputated legs will soon get a second chance. Exmovere is developing a vehicle driven by sensors that monitor muscle activity in the hips and lower torso.

The development was called the Chariot. Sensors record the slightest changes in pressure and tilt of the human body, which allows you to control the tool without using hands. One of the advantages is the vertical position of the human body, which provides him with normal eye contact, like a healthy person.

The chariot runs on battery power and is capable of speeds up to 20 km / h.

The chariot was designed for soldiers who received disabilities while on duty. Exmovere is currently working on a variant of the device that can give a person both a sitting and a standing position. In parallel, negotiations are underway with automakers about the serial production of Chariot.
