Dedicated on Mac Mini

Recently I received a newsletter from my dedic provider with the news about the beginning of the provision of hosting services for Mac Mini servers.

The news seemed very interesting, therefore I quote an abridged translation here.

Yes, from March 2008 iWeb will offer the opportunity to get the Mac Mini as a dedicated server. Included is traffic up to 2000GB and a port for remote rebooting - this is all you need for a reliable presence on the network. Use it as a web server, mail server, dns server, mySQL server or as a 'Ruby on Rails' development server with the new Leopard OS built on Rails.

Make it your backup server for your important files, a fully loaded Web hosting server with iTools, a Jabber server for messages, a Quicktime streaming server, a DNS server, or anything else you can think of. The Leopard server version even supports everything you need to deploy Apache 2, Ruby on Rails, Tomcat 5, Java VM, and WebObjects 5.4!
