Aimp2 - a free domestic player
Against the background of the adoption of the new law on piracy on the hub, it became normal to submit freeware programs. I also decided to introduce the Aimp player to all habrowsers closer ...
So, AIMP is a Windows music player from Russian developers.
Especially my favorite features:
* Work with several playlists at once. “We listen to one - we work with another.” One of the features that "hooked" me on Aimp
* Support for extension modules (in other words, plug-ins). I connected the winamp2qip plugin and am happy :)
* Tag editor. “You can easily edit tags of audio files, as well as rename files by group, sort by a given template, or apply tag values to a group of files”. Indeed, a very useful tool, especially when working with a group of files
* Audio library. “It is an organizer of music files, which will allow you to easily organize your music, rate the listened tracks, and keep playback statistics.” I did not use it much, but in general it’s a useful thing. Although not a distinctive feature of Aimp, such a thing is in all players :)
* A good context menu of the playlist. You can send your friend a flash drive your favorite track in two clicks. Failure can be removed immediately from Aimp'a, also in two clicks :)

(of the ones that I didn’t mention, but important - the built-in Audio Converter, as well as Sound Recorder. I didn’t write about them, because I didn’t have any knowledge of them. But I appreciate the presence :))
It may be funny, but one of the decisive factors for switching to aimp was the information bar about the track:
(there was nothing like that in winamp with the skin I used :()
Among the goodies are also skins, equalizer and support for a sea of formats :) You can also mention a small distribution size. Indeed, 2.8 megabytes versus 6.6 for winamp, although the same thing if not more :)

PS site . I don’t agitate on the transition, especially the ardent fans of the players that they have, I just imagine a domestic freeware product that you would like to use :)
