I propose not to send comments about comments by mail when the site visitor on the site.
I read Habr, and letters about new comments are poured into the mail without stopping. Better on the right, next to the profile link, indicate the presence of new comments. But if the user has left, after half an hour you can send an email, one about all the new comments.
