Futurama returns as a mobile game
True, not as an animated series, but as a mobile game . As you know, the series was canceled, then restored to rights, and again canceled. But now fans of the animated series will be able to enjoy the characters and plot of a mobile game that is based on the Futurama universe. The toy is called Futurama: Game of Drones. There is also a delivery of goods for customers, and trade wars, and, of course, Mommy .
Game of Drones is being developed by the German company Wooga Gamesthat created vibrant toys like Bejeweled and Puzzle Bobble. Yes, of course, these toys are not at all what you can expect to see in Futurama, but the company promises to do everything in the best possible way. The plot of the game was written by Dave Grossman, a veteran of the quest world who worked, for example, on Secret of Monkey Island. Moreover, producer Patrick M. Verron, the author of the idea of two episodes of the animated series “The Problem with Popplers” and “That's Lobstertainment!” Also worked on the storyline of the game. A contract with Wooga Games has already been signed. The second side is 20th Century Fox.
This is not the first game based on the animated series. The first was a 3D platformer released for the PS2, Xbox, and GameCube in 2003. Still fly again to Planet Express? Of course, yes, many want it! While the release date is unknown, but still:
