IT NonStop - a great IT holiday in Voronezh
International IT conference NonStop IT got to Voronezh! A real technical holiday for everyone who cares about the latest technology was presented to our city by DataArt, Voronezh State University and the Faculty of Applied Mathematics. About 400 programmers, testers and other involved gathered at the Voronezh State University on March 21 to chat with colleagues, share experiences and listen to interesting reports. The guests were spun by a variety of technical fields.
You can see the photo report now. And soon we will share video reports and other materials. Follow our blog and pages on social networks !
IT NonStop gathered a lot of enthusiastic participants. A great tradition has begun, the conference can rightfully be considered one of the best IT events of the year in the city. Now we look forward to continuing the holiday in other cities. Next in line Lviv, a meeting in which will be devoted to project management and PM techniques. IT NonStop will also be held in several other cities of Russia, Ukraine and Poland.
Those who were in another city were able to join the conference too - it was possible to follow IT NonStop live on our website, which was used by a huge number of people. Fortunately, the broadcast survived, and nothing critical broke.

The first report was very unconventional. Olga Azimbaeva talked about usability and designing user interfaces, without using familiar presentations to everyone. Instead, she showed the guests demos of “live” projects and talked about what results and how it turned out to be achieved.
Roman Kokin shared his extensive experience in organizing testing in large teams. The novel has vast experience in testing, has passed many projects in various industries, from tourism to game development, and has long been managing a serious team. To listen to such a seasoned veteran was extremely interesting.
Dmitry Sokolov, founder of Pocket DJ, told how to make the minimum viable MVP product for b2b and b2c, shared the real cases of the two companies. Ivan Degtyar, a representative of the Internet Initiatives Development Fund, joined Dmitry and told the guests about the FRII’s activities in Voronezh.
Arseny Zhizhelev, software developer, scientist, project manager, Scala-guru and a frequent guest of our meetings and conferences, shared with the participants of IT NonStop experience in developing sophisticated tools for tracking the game world of Allods Online.
Stanislav Sidorenko spoke about the development by DataArt of the unique DeviceHive M2M platform used in the design of “smart houses” and even more intelligent robots, and also shared plans for the development of the platform.
Alexander Bogdanov, our “greenest” speaker, spoke on a par with distinguished speakers who have more than one major conference. This is the first major conference at which Sasha spoke. And the start would be just great! The speaker touched on the current topic - Lambda architecture.
Atlassian JIRA is a very popular thing in the IT (and not only) environment. Andrey Saksonov, a developer with more than 6 years of experience, told the conference guests about the development of plug-ins for this system.
Alexander Kasheverov, guitarist, counselor, master of radio physics, web-developer and just a good person, devoted his speech to web applications, in particular, Gulp. The report was lively and interesting, the audience asks for supplements!
Stanislav Mekhonoshin, our Ruby expert, talked about Vagrant, a magical thing that makes development even more enjoyable. The last to speak is always difficult, but Stanislav managed not only to completely capture the attention of the audience, but also to infect guests with fresh ideas.
The entertainment program also did not disappoint! Everyone at this holiday found something to do: someone tested himself, collecting puzzles, others fought with colleagues in the “Mindflex telepath battle”, still others returned to the roots and spirit of the “old school” - played their favorite childhood games on a retro-set-top box. And the amazing science show of the Creative Science team was attended, it seems, by all. And not surprisingly, skipping this would obviously be a crime. To ensure that there was enough energy for the whole day, full of new knowledge, acquaintances and fun, all conference guests were treated to good coffee and cookies, without exception.
Many thanks to all the speakers, partners and guests. We are waiting for you at IT NonStop next year, and at our other meetings. Follow the news!
