The first terabyte SSD drive

OCZ introduced the world's first 2.5-inch 1TB SSD. It has a read speed of up to 560MB / s and a write speed of 400 Mb / s, which is more than that of its closest competitors.

According to OCZ, the technologies they use in the production of a solid state drive allow it to work stably for 10 years even with a large number of rewriting cycles. Moreover, the company promises that consumers will not feel a decrease in the speed of work even with compressed files.
According to OCZ, they were able to achieve such results using the SATA 3.0 serial data exchange interface and their own controller.

A line of new SSDs will be available next week. The memory capacity of the younger model will be 120 GB, but the oldest 1 TB.
The price for 1 TB is $ 1,100. A little expensive, I don’t really want to.
